How I Work

I invite you to choose your own level of involvement in the development of your website. I will remain receptive and accommodating to your ideas and input; work closely with you and request regular feedback throughout the process.

All of my work is hand-coded. This means that I do not use WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editors such as Dreamweaver and the like. I work this way to enforce good coding practices and provide a measure of quality control.

New and potential clients may contact me via this contact form.
Established clients will receive both my E-mail address and phone number for direct contact. E-mail remains my preferred method of correspondence, both for bookkeeping and task-reference purposes.

Payment & Retainer Info

• My standard rate is $20/hr. but I reserve the right to quote a higher rate at my own discression, depending on the nature and complexity of the work required.


• I accept payments by check (payable to: Michael Gordon),
  or via PayPal; either by credit card or money transfer.


• I require that my clients make a deposit before I start work, and maintain a positive balance to which all work may be billed during the course of the project. Clients who intend to keep me as their Web Master may keep me on retainer in the same manner.


• Snapshots of bookkeeping records (including dates, descriptions, time spent and amount charged) are always readily available upon request.


• If a balance remains after all needed work has been completed, it will certainly be refunded at the clients request.
